Four years in planning, and worth the wait! The 2009 Tournament was the 2nd trip down to the the tropical paradise of Jamaica, 2010 will be even better. The Jamaica Lacrosse Experience is planned for Nov. 12-14, 2010 to take advantage of the Veteran's Day Holiday time off! This all-inclusive tournament benefits
the students and teachers of the Marcus Garvey Technical High School. In 2008 we held our first clinic for the students and donated $500 towards school supplies for the children. The seed was planted, and last year we added another $700 to the fund! Generating $1,200 towards the school supplies fund, all from the sale of our Official JLT Apparel!
Once you register and finalize travel plans all you have to do is show up. Everything has been handled to make your stay irie. Check out the recap video of the 2009 JLT on our Facebook page.

Not "Just another Tournament"
Jamaica is a rich tropical paradise and a perfect early winter escape, but that's not the only reason for
planning this event. The overall goal of the tournament is to assist the local economy sustain itself through are visit. The charitable aspect is to provide support and supplies to the Marcus Garvey Technical High School. Over the long term, our goal is to facilitate the donation of school supplies for teachers, PE equipment for the students, offer an annual "free lacrosse clinic", and any additional support that we can. We are currently in the process of educating the school leadership about the traditions and history of lacrosse. Every participating player is invited to assist us as we strive to make a difference globally.
I have no doubt that you will enjoy The Jamaica Lacrosse Experience! The people, the culture, the food, and the scenery combine for the ultimate trip!
